Simple no bank guarantee supplied no boat ordered. I wanted to buy a Myster 35 from Hunters UK but they would not supply a bank guarantee as I was told “why?” we are a solid company six months later they went bust.
One other UK builder would not give a bank guarnatee so he also lost out. A Dutch company gave a bank gurantee so I bought a boat from them.
I am sad for those who lost money for their dream. Those responsible should be in prison.

I am since 1996 the owner of a Sweden Yacht 390.The boat yard went bankrupt in 1996,If I had not had a bankguarantee for the money paid I could have lost all.Mr Enoch restructured the company.However many people e g ships chandlers supplying the yard lost everything.People who deceive customers belong in prison.

Two years ago I order a Sweden yachts 42 and now I’m in the same situation: no boat and money gone !
What is really annoying is that at least since August 2008 they knew very well the boatyard was going worse and worse and that they would not be able to meet their commitments . In spite of that Mr. Sven Enoch and his sales staff didn’t tell anything to customers.
Well done !!
